• Work with a leading global manufacturer

• Workshop-based role with occasional site visits

• Base salary + super + opportunity to earn more through site work

My client, a leading manufacturer in the process and automation equipment sector, is seeking a Workshop Technician to join their dynamic service team. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically qualified tradesperson to work on high-end industrial equipment while contributing to the delivery of world-class service solutions.

The Role

You will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor and support the service team in delivering high-quality maintenance, refurbishment, and repairs of industrial equipment, including:

  • Blowers, rotary valves, separators, decanters, atomizers, homogenizers, pumps, and valves
  • Servicing both in-house and at customer sites (occasional travel required)
  • Occasional weekend or ad hoc work to meet client shutdown or emergency needs

You’ll also support warehouse tasks from time to time and ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance of processing equipment in the workshop
  • Assist in on-site service calls as needed
  • Clean, strip, assess, and recondition equipment, including light machining, polishing, and painting
  • Complete job documentation and service reports accurately and on time
  • Identify and recommend additional service opportunities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Follow OH&S policies and job safety procedures at all times

About You

  • Qualified mechanical tradesperson (Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Fitter-Welder, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with workshop tools and industrial equipment
  • Willing to travel occasionally for site service work
  • Comfortable supporting warehouse functions such as parts picking, dispatch, and stocktake
  • Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with excellent communication skills

On Offer

  • A competitive base salary + superannuation
  • Additional earning potential for on-site service work
  • A chance to work with a well-established, respected global brand
  • Supportive team culture with opportunities to grow and develop
