My client is a well-established, privately owned Australian company with over 40 years of industry experience. Specialising in the mobile on-site service and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings, they have built a strong reputation for service excellence, proactive business planning, and creating a positive and fulfilling work environment. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Workshop Supervisor to join their team in Kings Park.

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the production line within the Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) department. This role involves a diverse range of tasks, including:

  • Assigning tasks, supervising, motivating, and coaching employees working on the production line to ensure engagement, efficiency, and achievement of daily production goals.
  • Being accountable for the quality of products and processes and taking appropriate action to rectify any issues.
  • Assembling hydraulic and industrial hoses.
  • Ensuring customer sales orders are fulfilled accurately and on time to meet high standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant Trade qualification (Fitter / Cert. III Mechanical trade or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of hydraulic hoses and couplings and experience in hose assembly operations.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing processes.
  • Previous experience working with mining equipment (highly desired).
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • The ability to multi-task and work towards deadlines.
  • Current C-class and forklift licences (essential).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and supporting apprentices.
