Technical Training Manager – Electrical/Electronic Engineering | Sydney

Location: Sydney, NSW

Work Type: Full-time, Permanent

Remuneration: Base Salary + Super + Commission + Company Vehicle

Travel: Required to travel interstate and overseas

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional with a passion for training and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, delivering, and managing technical training programs that support both internal teams and external clients. The role combines technical expertise with a strategic focus on knowledge transfer, competency building, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging technical training programs
  • Assess training needs and tailor content accordingly
  • Support onboarding and upskilling of technical staff and clients
  • Ensure training materials are current and aligned with industry standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure knowledge sharing
  • Monitor training effectiveness and implement improvements

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field
  • 5–10 years’ experience in industrial components and electronics
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar technical training or learning & development role
  • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems and industrial technologies
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering technical training
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
