Technical Sales Representative – Industrial Solutions

My client is a well-established and growing organisation within the industrial water and environmental solutions sector, known for delivering high-quality, engineered systems to a diverse client base across Australia and internationally.

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and commercially driven Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Perth.


The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and managing the full sales cycle within a technical, project-based environment.

This role will see you working closely with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and clients to develop tailored solutions and deliver competitive proposals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify, qualify, and manage sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design customer-focused solutions
  • Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and quotations
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and close deals
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
  • Liaise with stakeholders across technical and operational levels


Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar technical or B2B sales role
  • Engineering, mechanical, or technical background preferred (not essential)
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
