My client is a leading provider of vacuum pumps, compressors, and industrial equipment solutions, supplying into sectors such as manufacturing, biomedical, food processing, and material handling. They are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician based in the Brisbane region to support customers across SEQ and regional Queensland. 

This role is ideal for someone with strong rotating equipment experience who enjoys autonomy, travel, hands-on technical work, and providing an exceptional level of service to customers. 

• Carry out service, maintenance, repairs and commissioning of vacuum pumps, compressors, blowers and related rotating equipment. 
• Attend customer sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast, SEQ and occasional regional travel. 
• Diagnose faults, perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and complete documentation. 
• Work independently in the field, managing your own schedule and customer interactions. 
• Participate in occasional travel requiring overnight stays (allowances paid). 
• Maintain professionalism and uphold safety standards at all times. 

• Negotiable hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications) 
• Company van, laptop, mobile phone, tools and uniforms 
• ATO-aligned overnight travel allowance 
• Meal allowances for days exceeding 10 hours 
• Stable full-time position within a growing national service team 

• Experience servicing rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, or vacuum systems. 
• Currently working as a field service technician (not workshop-only). 
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot independently. 
• Plumber/Gas Fitter with Medical Gas Licence highly regarded 
• Ability to travel, including some overnight stays. 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
