My client is a recognised leader within the industrial equipment sector, providing high-quality technical service and support solutions to customers across a variety of industrial and manufacturing environments.
They are currently seeking a skilled Service Technician to join their Perth operations team, working across both workshop and field service activities.
The Role
This role will involve carrying out maintenance, servicing, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment both in the workshop and at customer sites.
The position offers a balance of workshop and on-site work, with most site visits being metro-based day trips along with occasional overnight travel to regional WA locations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform servicing, repairs, maintenance, and fault diagnosis on industrial equipment
Undertake workshop and field service work across customer sites
Provide professional technical support and customer service
Assist with equipment installation and commissioning activities
Manage workloads and service schedules efficiently
Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting
Must-Haves
Cert III in Engineering (Fitter & Machining) or Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner or similar
Experience working with industrial or rotating equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Good communication and customer-facing skills
Current driver’s licence
Willingness to travel for occasional regional overnight trips (up to 3 nights per trip)
