Service Technician

My client is a reputable industrial equipment organisation, known for providing reliable service solutions and technical expertise across the manufacturing and industrial sectors.

They are currently looking for an experienced Service Technician to join their Brisbane team, supporting both workshop and field-based service activities.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment across workshop facilities and customer sites.

This opportunity offers a combination of workshop and field service work, with most travel consisting of metro day trips and occasional overnight travel to regional Queensland locations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct servicing, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on industrial equipment

Carry out both workshop-based and on-site service work

Provide technical assistance and maintain strong customer relationships

Assist with installation and commissioning activities as required

Manage service tasks independently and efficiently

Complete service documentation and reporting accurately

Must-Haves

Cert III in Engineering (Fitter & Machining) or Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner or similar

Previous experience servicing and maintaining industrial or rotating equipment

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding ability

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Strong communication and customer service skills

Current driver’s licence

Willingness to travel for regional overnight trips (up to 3 nights per trip)
