My client is a well-established industrial equipment business, recognised for delivering high-quality service solutions and technical support across a range of manufacturing and industrial sectors.
They are now seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their Sydney team and support both workshop and field service operations.
The Role
This position will see you responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment across workshop and customer site locations.
The role offers a mix of workshop and site-based work, with site visits mainly consisting of day trips around metro areas and occasional overnight travel to regional intra-state locations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on industrial equipment
Perform workshop and on-site service work across customer locations
Provide technical support and high-quality customer service
Complete installation and commissioning work where required
Work independently and manage service schedules effectively
Maintain accurate service records and reporting
Must-Haves
Cert III in Engineering (Fitter & Machining) or Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner or similar
Experience servicing and maintaining industrial or rotating equipment
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Current driver’s licence
Willingness to travel for regional overnight trips (up to 3 nights per trip)
