The Role
My client is looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to join their Sydney office.
Working closely with the Service Manager and field technicians, this role is responsible for coordinating daily service operations, scheduling preventative maintenance and breakdown work, and ensuring customers receive prompt and professional support.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy office, can juggle multiple priorities, and has previous experience coordinating technicians or service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule preventative maintenance and breakdown service jobs.
- Coordinate daily workloads for field service technicians.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Raise work orders and maintain accurate service records.
- Support the administration of service contracts and maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with customers and technicians to provide updates on job progress.
- Assist the Service Manager with the day-to-day running of the service department.
- Ensure service documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- General administration to support the service team.
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience working within an industrial, engineering, manufacturing, trades, or field service environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system will be highly regarded.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
