They now seek the assistance of an experienced Account Manager for their Sydney team.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling fruit and vegetable food ingredients, focusing on expanding relationships the food & Beverage manufacturing clients across Australia. This role will require strong account management skills, a deep understanding of the industry, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in food & Beverage manufacturing industries.
  • Promote and sell the client's portfolio of fruit and vegetable purees, concentrates, sweeteners, powders & more
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the designated territory.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide tailored solutions that meet customer-specific needs.
  • Provide expert advice on the application of purees in various culinary processes, from beverages to desserts and savory dishes.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote the client’s products.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales, account management, within the food & beverage manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food ingredients, particularly fruit and vegetable raw materials - highly regarded.
  • Food Science degree highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required within the territory.
