Sales Engineer – Fluid Control Systems
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Salary: Base + Super + Bonus + Vehicle

Their high-quality valves, sensors, and controllers are trusted across a wide range of applications and industries, including food and beverage, water and wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical processing, and general industrial manufacturing.
About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and growing accounts across Victoria by delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs. You will be supported by a highly capable technical and service team, with access to market-leading products and ongoing training.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of fluid control systems across key industrial sectors
- Provide technical consultation and product selection support to customers
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships across engineering, procurement, and operations teams
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term accounts
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and tender submissions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
Industries You’ll Work With
- Food & Beverage manufacturing and processing
- Water and Wastewater treatment plants and utilities
- Pharmaceutical and cleanroom manufacturing environments
- General Industrial Manufacturing, including packaging, chemical, and process industries
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales or sales engineering
- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics preferred)
- Strong understanding of fluid control systems, valves, instrumentation, or automation components
- Proven ability to build relationships and deliver results in a solution-based sales environment
- Excellent communication and commercial negotiation skills
- Ability to travel throughout Victoria as required
