Sales Executive – Pet Food Industry | ANZ
Are you a relationship-driven sales professional with experience in the food, ingredients, or pet food industry?
We are currently partnering with a global industry leader seeking a Sales Executive to join their ANZ team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly respected international business known for innovation, quality, and strong market presence across the food and pet nutrition sectors.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing customer relationships across the ANZ region while identifying new business opportunities and driving commercial growth.
You will work closely with customers, internal technical teams, and leadership to deliver tailored solutions, support strategic account development, and contribute to long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key customer accounts across the ANZ region
- Develop strategic relationships with customers and industry stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Drive sales growth across existing and new product portfolios
- Support customer projects and product development initiatives
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical, quality, and finance
- Maintain strong customer engagement and service levels
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous sales or account management experience within food, ingredients, animal nutrition, pet food, or related industries
- Strong commercial and relationship-building skills
- The ability to identify opportunities and drive business growth
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field will be highly regarded
