About the Role

Our client is a well-established and growing organisation within the industrial engineering and power transmission sector.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join their Sydney team. This role will focus on managing existing customer relationships, driving new business opportunities, and providing technical solutions across a range of industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across industrial sectors
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Sydney territory
• Provide technical sales support and solution-based recommendations
• Work closely with internal engineering and operations teams
• Manage customer enquiries, quotations, and project follow-up
• Maintain strong market presence and customer engagement
• Achieve sales and revenue targets

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years technical sales experience
• Strong background within power transmission, gearboxes, bearings, motors, or mechanical drive systems
• Experience in solution-selling or engineering sales environments
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Sydney-based or willing to manage Sydney territory
• Mechanical engineering or technical trade background advantageous
