Sales Engineer – Blowers & Vacuum Systems
Location: Perth, WA
My client is a leading global manufacturer of industrial engineered solutions, supplying blower and vacuum technologies to customers across mining, manufacturing, water treatment, food & beverage, oil & gas, and heavy industry.
Due to continued growth, my client is seeking a Sales Engineer – Blowers & Vacuum Systems to join their Perth team.
About the Role
This is a field-based technical sales role focused on growing the blower and vacuum systems business across Western Australia. You will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, understand customer applications, and recommend engineered solutions that deliver value.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of industrial blower and vacuum systems.
- Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts.
- Provide application-based technical solutions and product recommendations.
- Prepare quotations and manage opportunities through to close.
- Work closely with internal engineering and service teams.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build long-term relationships.
About You
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (or relevant trade qualification with technical sales experience).
- 2–3 years' experience selling blowers, vacuum systems, pumps, compressors, or other rotating equipment.
- Strong technical and commercial skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Experience selling into mining, manufacturing, water, or industrial markets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
