Sales Engineer – Separation & Dewatering Solutions

Location: Melbourne, VIC

Work with a specialist team delivering technical solutions across critical industries.

My client is a leader in decanter centrifuge technology, providing both new equipment solutions and expert servicing and repairs across all makes and models. They are seeking a technically minded Sales Engineer to join their Melbourne-based team and help drive growth across a broad range of industrial applications.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on technical sales role where you’ll work closely with clients across:

  • Industrial sludge and slurry dewatering
  • Municipal wastewater and biosolids treatment
  • Mining and civil construction slurry management
  • Organic waste and rendering by-product separation
  • Oils, fats, grease recovery, and food & beverage clarification

You will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining client relationships across Victoria and interstate
  • Identifying and developing tailored solutions for complex processing environments
  • Supporting both capital equipment sales and after-sales servicing opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal technical teams to deliver reliable, fit-for-purpose outcomes
  • Actively identifying new market opportunities and supporting business development strategy

About You:

  • Background in mechanical, process, or chemical engineering, or similar technical discipline
  • Proven experience in technical or capital equipment sales, ideally within wastewater, mining, F&B, or industrial services
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret process requirements and deliver technical recommendations
  • Comfortable working autonomously and travelling to client sites when required
