They are now seeking the assistance of a Technical Engineer to join their Brisbane team.
The Role
This position is part of a national product support team, providing engineering and technical expertise across a defined product range. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Product Managers, the role ensures effective coordination of service activities, supplier engagement, certification compliance, and ongoing support to sales teams, customers, and internal branches across Australia.
Responsibilities
Provide technical and marketing support to regional sales teams and customers.
Coordinate national service activities and warranty support across multiple branches.
Liaise with certification bodies regarding design updates and quality management improvements.
Review and authorise technical drawings and documentation.
Oversee manufacturing and modification processes, including third-party products and services.
Support the smooth operation of the modification workshop to ensure customer requirements are met.
Manage technical and sales enquiries, including preparation of tenders and quotations.
Raise and manage local purchase orders to meet national modification requirements.
Provide technical backup, training, and assistance to the external sales force.
Essential
Engineering Degree (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
Experience on electric motors, anywhere from design and manufacturing to installation or applications
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a technical support, engineering, or product-related role.
Core Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Strong ability to interpret and apply technical specifications, drawings, and contracts.
High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong coordination, problem-solving, and customer service orientation.
