A leading provider of industrial solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join their Melbourne team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional with a strong commercial mindset to drive sales growth across a diverse client base. The company specializes in delivering innovative automation and pneumatic solutions to industries such as manufacturing, processing, and machinery.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Mechanical Engineering degree or a mechanical trade background
- 5+ years of sales experience in automation, pneumatics, sensors, technical sales, or related
- Technically savvy (comfortable using CRMs and ERPs)
- Strong commercial acumen
- Polished presentation and excellent communication skills
- A proven ability to sell and develop client relationships
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers
- Provide technical solutions and advice to support client needs
- Manage sales processes from initial enquiry through to project completion
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes
