ROLE PURPOSE
To drive sales growth within the energy sector, establishing and expanding the company’s footprint across energy operators nationally. This is a newly created role responsible for building key customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and promoting relevant pump-related and mechanical product solutions into major energy accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within major energy operators (BP, Chevron, Woodside, Santos, QAL, Rio Tinto, etc.)
• Build a profitable pipeline through outbound activity, face-to-face meetings, and site visits.
• Grow market share within WA and QLD energy sectors.
Account Management
• Manage and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
• Provide technical product guidance and solution-based selling.
• Work closely with internal applications, engineering and service teams.
Market Expansion & Strategy
• Establish market positioning for the Energy & Infrastructure Business Unit.
• Provide feedback on customer needs, trends, and competitor activity.
• Contribute to long-term business planning and potential future headcount growth.
Technical Expertise
• Leverage experience in mechanical process equipment (compressors, pumps, rotating equipment, pneumatics).
• Quickly learn and promote the product portfolio.
• Conduct product demonstrations and support field-based trials.
Reporting
• Provide accurate forecasting, CRM updates, and territory reports.
• Collaborate with the Korean management team and align with EBU strategy.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Must Have
• Demonstrated sales experience in the energy sector
• Active networks within companies such as:
• BP, Chevron, Woodside, Santos, Rio Tinto, QAL, Origin, APA, etc.
• Experience selling mechanical/process equipment (pumps, compressors, rotating equipment, pneumatics, etc.)
Ideal Backgrounds
• Mechanical trade or technical sales background
• Compressors / pneumatic systems
• Pump systems into energy/oil & gas
• Industrial equipment servicing energy clients
