As part of their ongoing growth, they are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join their Melbourne-based team.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career Sales Engineer with a background in electrical engineering to step into a dynamic, customer-facing role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, providing technical solutions, and driving new business across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Manage existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and technical documentation in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, including site visits, product demonstrations, and troubleshooting
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business development strategy
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (essential)
  • 3–4 years of experience in a similar technical sales or sales engineering role
  • Strong commercial acumen and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, and driven to exceed targets
  • Ability to travel within VIC
  • Valid driver’s licence
