As part of their ongoing growth, they are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join their Melbourne-based team.
The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career Sales Engineer with a background in electrical engineering to step into a dynamic, customer-facing role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, providing technical solutions, and driving new business across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and propose tailored solutions
- Manage existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and technical documentation in collaboration with engineering teams
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, including site visits, product demonstrations, and troubleshooting
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business development strategy
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (essential)
- 3–4 years of experience in a similar technical sales or sales engineering role
- Strong commercial acumen and communication skills
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and driven to exceed targets
- Ability to travel within VIC
- Valid driver’s licence
