A fantastic opportunity for a technical sales professional to join a global manufacturer of gearboxes and electric motors in Sydney.

 

The Company:

My client is a world-leading manufacturer of Power Transmission systems, supplying engineered solutions to industrial process markets globally. With a strong reputation and technical expertise, they are seeking a sales professional to manage and grow their customer base across Sydney and some regional NSW.

 

The Role:

As Sales Engineer, you’ll drive sales and support for clients in mining, industrial, OEM, machinery builders and general manufacturing sectors.

  • Sell custom gearboxes and motors across diverse industrial sectors
  • Prospect, qualify, and close applications in targeted industries
  • Analyse market trends, build strategies, and implement business development plans
  • Identify technical requirements, propose tailored solutions, and convert opportunities into orders
  • Provide on-site technical support and hit sales targets within your territory

 

The Candidate:

  • Qualification in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic ideal
  • Open to all levels of sales professionals in the industry - ideally in mechanical/power transmission sectors
  • Strong technical foundation in gearboxes, drives, motors, or related mechanical components (e.g., bearings, pumps, valves)
  • Excellent communication skills, solution-focused approach, and ability to build lasting relationships
  • Highly regarded: candidates with experience selling to OEMs, integrators, or industrial end users
