Regional Sales Manager – Energy Sector (Australia, New Zealand & Oceania)

Location: Flexible—based in Perth, Brisbane, or Melbourne (with regional travel)

Position Overview

As the Regional Sales Manager – Energy Sector, you will spearhead sales operations across Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania, collaborating closely with the head of sales based in Korea. You’ll be instrumental in deepening client relationships across petrochemical and power markets, championing technical excellence, and ensuring compliance with API 610 standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead regional sales strategies targeting the petrochemical and power sectors across the ANZ + Oceania region.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong industry networks with end users, EPC contractors, and systems integrators.
  • Work in close alignment with the sales leadership team in Korea to align regional strategies with global objectives.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of API 610, ensuring solutions meet the stringent performance, safety, and reliability criteria required for centrifugal pumps in heavy-duty industrial applications
  • Identify, qualify, and actively pursue promising sales opportunities within the energy segment.
  • Enable the successful transition of leads into orders with cross-functional support (technical, logistics, aftermarket).
  • Travel regularly across the region to meet clients, attend industry events, and coordinate with internal teams.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive sales experience within the petrochemical and power industries, with demonstrated understanding of their technical and commercial drivers.
  • Strong technical acumen in industrial pump systems and rotating equipment.
  • Practical knowledge of industry standards, especially API 610 for centrifugal pumps—covering design, materials, testing, tolerances, and documentation
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios across multiple territories.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally (ANZ + Oceania), with flexibility to work from any major site office (Perth, Brisbane, or Melbourne).

 

Preferred Background

  • Hands-on experience with pump systems and industrial rotating equipment.
  • A robust professional network spanning the oil, gas, and energy sectors.
  • Familiarity with API 610 pump types and specifications, such as OH (overhung), BB (between-bearings), and vertical suspended pumps—enhancing credibility during client discussions
