A leading manufacturer and global specialist in pneumatics and air actuation systems is seeking an experienced Product and Technical Manager to lead its Industrial Automation portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. The company designs and manufactures advanced pneumatic components, motion control systems, and automation solutions used across multiple industrial sectors.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Product and Technical Manager to lead our Industrial Automation portfolio across ANZ. This role combines product management, technical leadership, and training oversight to ensure our solutions meet customer needs, drive business growth, and maintain a competitive market position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead product management for Industrial Automation across ANZ, managing the full product lifecycle, including compliance, risk management, and application reviews.
• Develop product strategies by translating customer requirements and market opportunities into actionable plans, guiding the team in creating tailored solutions that drive business objectives.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of the product portfolio, applications, and industry trends to provide expert support to sales teams and ensure customer-focused solutions.
• Oversee the delivery of technical training programs and product knowledge initiatives across ANZ, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and compliance requirements.
• Design and develop training content, manuals, and learning resources for use across teams and digital platforms (LMS/CBT).
• Collaborate with Marketing to align training initiatives with campaigns and broader business goals.
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline) is essential.
• Additional qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Training/Education are advantageous.
• Strong technical expertise in Industrial Automation products, with deep knowledge of design, applications, and solutions.
• Proven experience in leading teams (technical specialists, product teams, or training staff) with a focus on capability development.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver technical training programs across in-person and digital platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills to engage learners and adapt to diverse learning styles.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, compliance standards, and application-based solutions.
