My client is a third-generation, family-owned food manufacturing business and a recognised industry leader in fruit and vegetable processing. They proudly supply major Australian food manufacturers and large-scale catering operations, supported by long-term partnerships with national growers to ensure consistent, year-round supply.
They are now seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to support and strengthen their commercial function. The role will suit someone experienced in FMCG or food manufacturing who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and enjoys combining analytical, process, and leadership skills to optimise sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and improve end-to-end sales operations processes.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, forecast demand, and report on performance.
- Manage and enhance CRM tools to maintain accurate customer insights.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align targets and priorities.
- Coordinate new enquiries, seasonal reporting, and lead follow-ups.
- Oversee pricing updates, quotations, and proposals in conjunction with Finance.
- Manage a small internal team while supporting customer service delivery.
- Ensure consistency and compliance with internal sales procedures and policies.
Skills & Experience
- 3–4 years’ experience in sales operations, customer service, or administration.
- Background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or B2B marketing (preferred).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (advantageous).
