The Opportunity:

They are currently seeking an experienced and commercially savvy Key Account Manager to lead customer engagement and growth across New Zealand's North Island, with a base in Tauranga. This role focuses on managing key food manufacturing clients and introducing innovative flavour and colour solutions that align with evolving market demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow long-term partnerships with food manufacturing clients.
  • Strategically manage key accounts to drive profitable sales growth.
  • Identify market opportunities and convert leads into active business.
  • Liaise closely with technical, R&D, and supply teams to tailor customer solutions.
  • Provide industry insights and stay informed on food trends and innovation.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Occasional travel across New Zealand to visit client sites and attend meetings.
About You:
  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in food ingredients, flavours, or colours.
  • A background in Food Science, Chemistry, or similar is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of account growth and customer retention.
  • Enthusiastic, self-driven, and solutions-oriented with a collaborative approach.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Tauranga or nearby region.
