Internal Sales & Application Engineer – Valves & Instrumentation Solutions

With a footprint across sectors like Food & Beverage, Power, Oil & Gas, and more, we partner with leading international manufacturers from the USA and Europe to deliver tailored, high-performance solutions.

We’re currently seeking a technically-minded Internal Sales and Application Engineer to join our Melbourne-based team. This role combines inside sales support with application engineering, helping clients operate more efficiently, safely, and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inside sales support across the full product portfolio to the Major Account Manager
  • Respond to inbound sales enquiries and assist with customer technical queries
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with service and solutions teams
  • Follow up on open opportunities, prepare quotations, and work to close sales
  • Collaborate with internal departments to enhance customer satisfaction and delivery outcomes
  • Engage technical product managers where needed to support complex sales or project-based opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system and support data-driven decision making
  • Participate in the use of sales tools and systems for collaboration and opportunity tracking
  • Previous experience in valves, pumps, or flow control products highly regarded
