Role Overview:
We're seeking a motivated Health & Safety Officer with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. This position is ideal for a safety professional from any industry sector who is eager to relocate and join a global manufacturer that values fresh ideas, growth, and leadership potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support WHS policies, procedures, and systems in line with Australian legislation
- Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, and safety observations
- Promote safety culture through toolbox talks, training sessions, and team engagement
- Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and training documentation
- Contribute to global EHS initiatives and sustainability goals
About You:
- 3+ years’ experience in a safety-focused role
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum Cert IV or equivalent)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Exposure to ISO 45001 & 14001 systems is an advantage
