Food Technologist – Food/Food Service

·        Manage and deliver New Product Development from concept to commercialisation as per brief

·        Take the lead on assigned projects and manage all customer communications

·        Take the lead on Scaling Up of all the products for the manufacturing site

·        Create specifications and PIFs for developed products

• Attend Preliminary meetings with customers for new projects
• Research and Development of new products including stability study, improving formulation, testing new ingredients

·        Taste developed products and organise tasting with project team

·        Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company’s internal IT system by following the NPD procedure

·        Execute and Manage project documentation as per the procedure

·        Maintaining the status of projects on the company’s internal IT system and running Weekly project meetings with internal stakeholders

·        Maintaining and cleaning the laboratory auxiliaries and analysis devices used

·        Maintaining raw material stocks in the laboratory

·        Preparation and Execution of Customer Workshops

·        Conduct Market research when required for project work or customer presentation

·        Sourcing new ingredients if required in collaboration with the purchasing department and Key Account Manager.

·        Be involved in on going learning and training within the internal technical team

·        Provide technical support to internal and external customers

·        Carry out proactive work on internal projects as defined by the department head
