Financial Controller – Industrial Technology Sector

My client, a well-established global organisation within the industrial technology sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to join its Sydney-based team.

The role focuses on overseeing financial operations across the regional business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong governance, and supporting strategic business decision-making. The position works closely with senior leadership and operational teams to drive financial performance and ensure compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial accounting and reporting activities for the regional business

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, taxation, and internal financial control requirements

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making

• Work closely with operational teams to improve financial performance and cost management

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• CPA or CA qualification highly regarded

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Regional Financial Controller or similar senior finance role

• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

• Ability to partner with senior leadership and influence business strategy

• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
