Technical Sales & Service Business Development Manager

Location: Brisbane

An established global provider of mechanical drive solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Sales & Service Business Development Manager to join its Australian team. This role is focused on growing service business while strengthening long-term customer relationships across key industrial sectors.

The Role

This position will concentrate on the service side of the business and will be responsible for developing new opportunities while supporting existing customers across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities include:

• Generating new service leads and managing existing customer relationships

• Promoting new service offerings and value propositions

• Managing the full sales process from enquiry through to solution delivery

• Preparing and negotiating technical and commercial proposals

• Acting as the key customer liaison and internal advocate

• Managing pipeline activity, forecasting and CRM reporting

• Supporting customers remotely and onsite, including first-level technical support

• Providing pre- and post-sales technical advice for implementation and operation of solutions

About You

• Background in Technical Sales, Mechanical Engineering or Trade

• Experience within the mechanical drives, gearboxes or rotating equipment sector

• Exposure to mining or heavy industrial environments

• Strong customer-focused and consultative sales approach

• Able to translate technical requirements into commercial solutions

• Comfortable managing a sales territory independently

• Strong IT and CRM capability

• Willingness to travel as required
