Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in heat exchangers or related process equipment and have a proven track record in sales. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities within various industries, including food and beverage, mining, and dairy processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales and expand our market presence.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and assess their needs related to heat exchange and process equipment.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of our services.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Work closely with management to develop strategic sales plans that align with company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical sales or business development within the engineering or manufacturing sector, preferably in heat exchangers or related areas.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational workflows within industries such as food and beverage, mining, and dairy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet sales targets.
- A technical degree or qualification in engineering or a related field is preferred but not essential if significant experience can be demonstrated.

- A self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about customer needs and solutions.

Compensation:
- Salary Range: Base salary of $85,000 - $110k per annum, with additional performance-based bonuses.
- Benefits include a company car or car allowance, mobile phone, laptop, and necessary sales tools.
