My client, a global leader in sensor-based applications and intelligent automation technology, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Automation Sales Engineer to join their Perth team.

This is a key sales role focused on delivering advanced sensor and safety solutions to customers across diverse sectors including manufacturing, logistics, mining, and process industries. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their automation challenges and provide tailored, high-performance solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Trade qualification (mandatory)
• 4–7 years' experience in automation sales, technical sales, or solutions engineering
• In-depth knowledge of industrial sensors, safety systems, IO-Link, encoders, and vision solutions
• Familiarity with PLC, fieldbus protocols (e.g., PROFIBUS, EtherNet/IP), and machine integration
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven sales track record in the industrial automation sector
• Ability to work independently, manage territory sales, and deliver customer value
