Area Sales Manager – Industrial Pumps (WA)
The Company:
A globally backed leader in fluid handling solutions, this organisation specialises in pump systems and water management technologies across mining, industrial, agricultural, and infrastructure sectors.
With continued investment and expansion across Australia, they are now seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth across Western Australia.
The Role:
This is a high-impact, autonomous sales role focused on developing and growing market share across WA, with a strong emphasis on the mining and consultancy sectors.
You will work closely with existing customers while identifying new opportunities, particularly within engineering consultancies and large-scale industrial operations.
A key initial focus will be on submersible bore pump solutions, with broader exposure across a growing and evolving pump portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a WA territory growth strategy
• Build strong relationships with:
• Engineering consultancies
• Mining companies
• OEMs and industrial clients
• Identify and convert new business opportunities
• Manage and grow existing accounts
• Provide technical sales support, including:
• Product selection
• Basic sizing/specification support
• Work closely with internal teams to align:
• Product availability
• Market demand
• Customer requirements
• Contribute to long-term strategy as the WA business expands
The Candidate:
• Proven experience in technical sales within:
• Pumps (highly regarded)
• Fluid handling / rotating equipment
• Or related industrial sectors
• Strong exposure to:
• Mining / industrial markets
• Engineering consultancies
• Experience with submersible or centrifugal pumps highly desirable
• Commercially driven with a hunter mindset
• Able to work independently in a remote territory role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
