About the Role

Our client, a leader in separation chemistry and water treatment solutions, is seeking a skilled Technical Account Manager to join their team, focusing on mining clients in the Mt Isa region. This role is designed for a driven sales professional with expertise in chemistry applications for mining separation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target primarily existing and new business opportunities within the mining sector in the Mt Isa region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Provide clients with technical support, addressing all product-related inquiries and enhancing customer experience.
  • Execute on-site testing, product selection, and plant surveys; document operational parameters.
  • Create and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, staying informed of industry trends to better position products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of the company's offerings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant industrial experience (mining, industrial, water, or wastewater treatment) in technical sales or process engineering.
  • Proven sales experience in a chemistry-based role or in selling technical products to mining clients in the Mt Isa region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team to drive sales success.
