About the RoleAs the Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers across the Mackay region. You will focus on driving growth through technical sales and process support, particularly within the water and wastewater treatment, industrial, and mining sectors. The role suits a technically minded sales professional who enjoys building partnerships and solving real-world operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage an established portfolio of industrial and water treatment clients
- Provide technical support and application expertise on polymer and chemical solutions
- Drive business development and secure new project opportunities
- Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to deliver optimal solutions
- Regularly visit client sites to understand needs and ensure satisfaction
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technical sales or process engineering
- Industry experience in mining, industrial, water, or wastewater treatment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term client relationships
- Willingness to travel locally across the region
