Our client is a well-established and growing organisation within the industrial and chemical distribution sector, supplying a wide range of products to manufacturing, food processing, water treatment, and industrial customers across Australia.
They are known for their strong market presence, high-quality product offering, and long-standing relationships with key clients across multiple industries. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their Sydney-based team.
The Role
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients while identifying new business opportunities across key industrial sectors.
This is a relationship-driven role, focused on maintaining strong customer partnerships, increasing revenue within accounts, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts
- Develop strong relationships with customers across industrial and manufacturing sectors
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Provide technical or product-based solutions aligned with customer requirements
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in Account Management or B2B Sales
- Background in industrial, chemical, manufacturing, or related sectors
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and drive revenue growth
