My client is a well-established and growing business within the food and nutraceutical ingredients space. They are currently seeking an experienced and commercially driven Account Manager to join their Sydney-based team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, driving sales growth, and working within a dynamic and fast-paced industry.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients, while also identifying new business opportunities within the food and nutraceutical sector.

This is a client-facing role that requires a proactive and results-driven approach, with a strong focus on relationship management and commercial outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits
  • Provide product solutions aligned with customer needs
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth


What They Are Looking For

  • 5 - 10 years’ experience in a similar Account Manager / Sales role
  • Background in food, ingredients, or nutraceuticals is highly regarded
  • Strong commercial mindset and sales drive
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a territory
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach
